This week for my learning project I looked at learning basic beginner conversational words so that if I would ever bump into a person who is deaf I could somewhat communicate with them. For this weeks lesson I decided to branch out from Sign Language 101 and found a couple YouTube videos instead. Coming up next week I will learn more numbers and some basic grammar!

Hi Hannah, I like how you have created lessons for yourself and included how you felt in the learning process. Keeping track of our feelings while learning is important. What inspired you to learn sign language?

I have always wanted to learn a different language besides French and after watching Switched at Birth I knew that I wanted to learn ASL!

Hey Hannah! First I love how your videos are turning out they look great. I'm also learning ASL but we're learning different words and conversation pieces which is great! I find myself watching your videos trying to learn from what you have posted. Thank you for sharing your new ways of learning, and I look forward to learning with you.
